Dr. Jye-Ching Lee is a professor at the Institute of Intellectual Property of National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT). He earned the LL.D. degree at Waseda University (Japan). Besides, he is a visiting scholar at University of Freiburg, Free University of Berlin, and Waseda University.
Dr. Lee has vast experiences in legal settlement and enactment of legislation in public sectors. He used to be members relating to law amendments of Commissions to Confiscation of Criminal Assets and Money Laundering Control established by the Ministry of Justice. Also, he was invited as Advisory Committe Member at government seminars, such as Justice training programs and financial crime prevention. Also, he was a member on the Examining Board of Patent Agent Qualification in Taiwan. As for private enterprise, he was employed as a legal counsel in funding and technology transfer at Japanese firms due to the familiarity with Japanese and Japanese culture.
Dr. Lee’s current research and scope of teaching cover Technology Law, Criminal Law, as well as Copyright Law and Trade Secrets Act.
